Go through a mile-long tract of humid forest that lies within the Gamboa Rainforest boundaries. The tram ascends 280 feet over half a mile and ends on a top of a hill. From here you will walk to the Observation Tower, and for those with some stamina the activity involves a climb of 100 feet up a mildly inclined ramp. From the Observation Tower, you’ll get great views of the Canal and the Chagres River, as well as the surrounding forested areas of Soberania National Park. After this, you will get in a small boat and visit the Monkey Island, at the Gatun Lake.

This is a lake adventure full of the sounds and amazing sights of the tropical rainforest. You will go to the public dock at the Gatun Lake passing by a funny road used to communicate the cities and military areas, as well as Canal supporting buildings.

 

You will make a stop at the Monkey Island to see the Panama Canal rainforest in close proximity. In cruise speed, along with your tour guide, you will look for capuchin monkeys, three-toed sloths, howler monkeys, different types of toucans and other birds.

After that, you will have the chance to do the Aerial Tram ride at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. The aerial tram ride is a mile long track of humid forest.
